Who do you serve?

We support older (and other homebound) adults in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area who want to continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes. We also work closely with family members who are helping to care for an aging loved one and need additional support or peace of mind.

Do you provide medical services?

No. Marjorie’s Daughters In-Home Senior Support provides non-medical services only. We do not offer nursing care, medical treatment, therapy, or personal medical assistance. Our services are designed to complement — not replace — medical or home health care.

Question 3

What types of help do you provide?

We assist with companionship, light household tasks, meal preparation, errands, transportation, routine support, and general oversight. We are also expert (and gentle) declutterers! We keep an eye out for safety concerns and make recommendations. Services are tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences to help them age in place. We can come in for a few hours a week or more.

Do you provide personal care such as bathing or medication assistance?

No. We do not provide hands-on personal care, medical care, medication administration, or medication management. If those services are needed, we are happy to help families coordinate with licensed medical or home health providers.

Yes. Every client’s needs are different. We work with you and your family to create a personalized support plan that fits your routines, preferences, and goals — whether that means a few hours a week or more regular support.

Do you offer short-term or temporary support?

Yes. We can provide short-term, non-medical support during transitions such as recovery periods, changes in living arrangements, or when family caregivers need respite.

Will family members receive updates?

Yes. With the client’s permission, we can provide regular updates to designated family members to help everyone stay informed and reassured.

How do you ensure safety?

While we do not provide medical supervision, we focus on general safety awareness, routine check-ins, and observing changes in daily patterns or the home environment. Any concerns are promptly communicated to the client or designated family contacts.
